The Genius Switch Review: An 8-Minute Audio Track, Checked Against the Fine Print
The Genius Switch is a $39 audio track you listen to with headphones for 8 minutes a day. Here is what you get, what the seller claims and how strong the evidence is, plus the refund terms most pages leave out.

Our editorial score
3.0/5
Healthy Hormones Club's own assessment. Not a customer rating.
Our Take in 30 Seconds
The Genius Switch is cheap, simple to use and covered by a 90-day refund window through ClickBank. That earns it a middle score. It loses points because no study tests the track itself, the sales pitch contradicts itself on brain waves, the presenter's identity could not be verified, and the testimonials may be acted out.
If you treat it as a relaxing 8-minute listening habit and keep your receipt, the risk is low. If you expect luck, money, weight loss or a medical effect, skip it.
What works in its favor
- Low one-time price of $39
- Easy routine: headphones, eyes closed, 8 minutes
- Plays in any media player, no app needed
- Emailed right after checkout
- 90-day refund window in the Terms and at ClickBank checkout
What holds it back
- No published study of the track itself
- "Nothing to do with brain waves" vs binaural-beat references
- Presenter's identity not verified
- Terms say testimonials may use avatars or actors
- Refund page copied from a different product
What it is
An Audio Track, Not an App and Not a Game
The Genius Switch is a single 8-minute digital audio track. The seller calls it a "targeted auditory sequence", and the sales page heading also uses the name "Genius Switch Audio Series". The Terms of Sale describe it as "a copyrighted digital article for personal use".
There is no app and no game. Nothing like that is offered on the site, at checkout or in the sales video. You get an audio file that you download to your phone or computer and play in whatever media player you already use.
Delivery is digital only. The track is emailed right after checkout, and the ClickBank checkout page lists it as a "Digital Product" with immediate access once payment is approved.

Claims vs evidence
What the Seller Claims, and How Strong the Evidence Is
Everything in this list is a claim made by the seller in the sales video or on the sales page. The label next to each claim is our reading of the evidence. No published study tests The Genius Switch track itself.
"Whole brain activation" by syncing the two brain hemispheres
Not a clinical termThis is the seller's own phrase. The video cites Roger Sperry's Nobel Prize, but Sperry won the 1981 Nobel for split-brain research, not for "whole brain activation".
"Neural sync technology", with one hour compressed into 8 minutes
No published testWe found no study that tests this compression claim or the track itself.
Sharper focus, faster learning, better memory, "eureka moments"
Small, mixedSome small binaural-beat studies, such as the 40 Hz attentional-blink study the site cites (Ross and Lopez, 2020), report short-term effects on attention or mood. Reviews call the overall evidence mixed and small-scale. None of it tests this track.
Luck, synchronicities, promotions and money
NoneOn a casino story in the video, the presenter himself says "there is of course no evidence to support that the genius switch caused that".
Weight loss (a 17 lb story), quitting smoking, easing headaches and joint pain, kids' grades
Anecdotes onlyThese come from stories in the sales video. The product is not a treatment for any condition.
"It starts working the very first time you listen"; results in two to three days or "a couple weeks"
Seller timelineThese are the seller's statements about timing. We have no data to confirm them.
A contradiction worth knowing
"Nothing to Do With Brain Waves"?
What the video says
The method "has nothing to do with brain waves", and sound waves are called "incomplete".
What the sales page cites
A reference list that includes studies on 40 Hz binaural beats and gamma stimulation.
The two statements do not fit together, and the seller does not explain how the track is built. If binaural beats are part of it, the fair summary is that research on binaural beats is small and mixed, with some short-term effects on attention or mood. If they are not, the cited studies do not apply.
Presenter and testimonials
Who Is Behind the Pitch?
The presenter in the sales video introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, a New York City neurologist, under a "Top NYC Brain Doctor" headline. We could not verify his involvement with the product, so we do not describe him as endorsing it.
The seller's Terms of Service include a section titled "For Entertainment Purposes Only", which says: "brain entrainment is not an exact science and we recommend that you do not treat it as such. The products are provided for entertainment purposes only."
About the testimonials. The video features "Lisa, a nurse from San Diego", "Matthew in Houston", "Ellie from Manhattan" and "Joyce Webb from Tempe". The seller's Terms say feedback may be acted out by digital avatars or actors, that some featured people may be "early supporters, friends, or family members of the company's founders", and that testimonials are "exceptional results and may not reflect the experience of a typical customer". The claim of "18,456 everyday Americans" helped is also the seller's figure. We do not treat any of it as independent reviews.
Price
What $39 Gets You
The sales page shows $200, $100 and $49 crossed out with "Today Just For $39". Those crossed-out figures are the seller's own reference prices. The video also calls $39 a special price "only through this video" that is "not guaranteed beyond today", which is a sales urgency claim.
Checkout shows your local currency plus tax, so the final amount can differ by country. It is a one-time payment for a digital product.

Guarantee
The 90-Day Guarantee and the Refund Fine Print
Two sources set a 90-day window. The seller's Terms say digital products are refundable "within 90 days of your initial purchase", and the ClickBank checkout states "return or replacement of any product within 90 days from the date of purchase". The sales page shows a "90-Day Money Back Guarantee (terms apply)", and the video calls it a "100% ironclad money back guarantee".
The fine print. The site's separate Refund page is a copy of a policy for "NeuroActivate" bottles: 60 days, unopened bottles only, with a return address in Tallmadge, OH. It does not fit a digital audio track. The Terms page and ClickBank's 90-day policy are the ones that apply here.
To ask for a refund, contact ClickBank order support at 1-800-390-6035. Keep your ClickBank receipt, and look for CLKBANK*GeniusSwitch on your card statement. For product questions, the seller lists [email protected]. Marketing emails come from GeniusSwitchOfficial.com.
Safety
How to Listen Safely
This is our own general advice for audio-entrainment products, not the seller's instructions:
- Keep the volume comfortable. Loud audio through headphones can harm hearing over time.
- Never listen while driving or operating machinery. The routine asks you to close your eyes.
- Epilepsy, seizures or hearing problems: ask your doctor before you start.
- Not a treatment. The seller's own disclaimer says it is "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease". Keep any medical care you already have.
It May Suit You If
- You want a short, structured daily listening break
- You are curious about audio tracks and fine with an experiment
- You are comfortable spending $39 and using the 90-day window if it is not for you
Skip It If
- You expect proven gains in memory, focus or income
- You want help with a health condition: see a doctor instead
- You were looking for an app or a brain-training game
Frequently Asked Questions

It is a single 8-minute digital audio track. The seller describes it as a "targeted auditory sequence" and also calls it the Genius Switch Audio Series. You download it and play it in any media player on your phone or computer. Nothing is shipped.
Is The Genius Switch an app or a game?
No. No app or game is offered anywhere on the seller's site, checkout or sales video. It is an audio file. If you were looking for a brain-training game or a dedicated app, this is not that.
How do you use it?
The seller says to put on headphones, close your eyes and listen for 8 minutes a day. The video says missing a day is okay. You can download the track to a phone or computer and play it whenever suits you.
Is The Genius Switch binaural beats?
The seller does not say clearly. The sales video says the method has nothing to do with brain waves and calls sound waves incomplete, but the sales page lists studies on 40 Hz binaural beats and gamma stimulation as references. We could not confirm how the track itself is built.
Does The Genius Switch work?
No published study tests The Genius Switch track itself. Some small studies on binaural beats report short-term effects on attention or mood, and reviews describe that evidence as mixed and small-scale. The seller's own Terms say its products are provided for entertainment purposes only.
Who is Dr. Daniel Barone?
The presenter in the sales video introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, a New York City neurologist. We could not verify his involvement with the product. The seller's Terms say testimonials and feedback may be dramatized with digital avatars or actors.
How much does The Genius Switch cost?
The sales page lists $39 as a one-time price. The crossed-out prices of $200, $100 and $49 are the seller's own reference prices. Checkout shows your local currency plus tax, so the final amount can differ by country.
What bonuses come with it?
The video lists four digital bonuses: a guided visualization from a creator described as top-rated on the Calm app, a smart grocery shopping guide, a free copy of a 100+ year old classic book on attracting financial success, and a printable infographic of 5 habits.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. The seller's Terms say digital products are refundable within 90 days of your initial purchase, and the ClickBank checkout states a 90-day return policy. The site's separate refund page describes a 60-day policy for unopened NeuroActivate bottles, which does not fit a digital track. Keep your ClickBank receipt.
Can I get it on Amazon, YouTube or Spotify?
According to the sales video, it is not sold on Amazon, YouTube or Spotify, and the presenter says tracks found there are not the same. Orders go through ClickBank.
Is it safe to listen to?
Our general advice for audio-entrainment products: listen at a comfortable volume, never while driving or operating machinery, and if you have epilepsy, a history of seizures or hearing problems, ask your doctor first.
Want to Try the 8-Minute Track?
Go in with fair expectations: a $39 audio routine with a 90-day refund window, not a proven brain upgrade. Read the Terms, keep your ClickBank receipt, and listen at a safe volume.
